Steroids are the mainstay of management when you decide that the diagnosis is Bell Pause. Prednisolone, 60 milligrams a day for 10 days and then valetrex or valetyclovir, 1000 milligrams three times a day for one week. There's some evidence to suggest that the antiviral does have additive benefits on top of the steroids.
