The Concept of Commodification Gap

I hope to tell a different story of gentrification than has been told. So my research strategy was very much influenced by what Kyle Marx in his Górndrüs in the 19th century called the A-sending from the abstract to the concrete and the descending from the concrete to the abstract. So I moved back and forth between theoretical concepts and empirical reality in different cases to finally arrive at a different conceptualization of gentrification which enabled me  to develop new concept, commodification gap.
