The Importance of Sector Focused Funds
In the early days, we always feel it's a better diversified approach to go for a generalist manager that looks at several types of sectors. As we build out the portfolio in the next years, we would be looking at more focused funds that look at whether it's healthcare or potentially FinTech. The risk with more sector focused firms is really getting a grasp of sector itself. You see some of the best vintages in industries are before they're even named.
