The History of Maxima

The AI see more human kind of idea but in any case back in the in by 1970 or so there were early kind of experiments in um uh doing algebraic computation on top of the list. The system called maxima was not the world's best programming environment in many ways it's its idea of programming was very algo like very procedural and tended to sort of just about fit on the KL10 computer that it ran on.
