The Bridge Between Credibility and Relevance?
The question is whether it's losing its relevance. I think in order to have relevance relative to the mission of informing, educating, and addressing the needs of the public, one actually has to have credibility. There are no other institutions other than public radio who are up to that challenge. If somebody started from scratch, it would take them years to catch up with what public radio's infrastructure is now.
