The Importance of Time

Michael: We have a finite amount of time in this life and we can do very great, great transcendent goods. According to the mind of St. Thomas, God is willing to bind himself really in the matter of an employer. He says what we how we improve ourselves depend upon what we put into it. As the economists say, there's no free lunch. Nobody's going to pay you money for nothing. You have to make some kind of contribution to the good of the enterprise or other people. And then you might get some compensation.
