The Great Cake Adrift

They flew through the Great Cake adrift. They did the first transatlantic crossing, but they went from Newfoundland to Ireland. At one point, they even went the wrong way and started heading back towards Canada. It is pretty easy to get disorientated, I think, when you're flying. The French Air Corps had the largest Air Force in the world - larger than Germany, Britain, Italy, Russia, Japan, and Austria combined. And that was the largest in the world.
