The Parallel Lives of Plutarch

In terms of Plutarch himself, his most famous work is these parallel lives where if you haven't read them, you've got these lives in parallel. Each Greek and a Roman he pairs the two races, which is I think part of his project. Most of it has come down to us now but then generally at the end he has a kind of analysis or consideration of the pair. And then he has a bunch of other writings as well.
