When I first started making YouTube videos, it was just the recipe videos. And then when I started making the like talking head style videos that are about like science and history and stuff like that, I got so many people saying in the comments: "I don't like this" It freaked me out a little bit because especially then we really needed the money. But if I didn't try new things, where would we be? There's a moral in there for all of us, like which is just be open to change. You never know what wonderful thing you might find when your wife buys something completely insane from the grocery store that she's never going to eat but maybe you will.
