The Role of Genes in Differences in Behaviors
Most traits or behaviors of interest are determined by the variation of many different alleles and the interaction with one another. A very small number are called Mendelian traits which are determined solely by the inheritance of a single allele. The things that we're interested in about intelligence or predispositions to autism or depression, none of them are going to be determined by a single gene.
