What Happens to Styles Not in a Layer?

There's also anonymous layers. And these work the same as named layers except they're not named. So you can think of nested layers like nested namespaces. Styles can be added to nested layers at any time, just like normal layers. Anything that's not in a layer has more importance than things in a layer. Layers allow managing style importance with orchestrated style folding.
