The Importance of Delegation
In 2017, I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer that had spread. And you know, when I was... I had only been dean for two years by that point. So this was a great lesson for me, but it's a lesson to anyone, the importance of delegation. It turns out I didn't have as bad a reaction to radiation in chemo as a lot of people do. But we got a lot done in 2017 and I wouldn't have got as much done had I not delegated.
