Is Guanfosene a Good Option for Patients on the Ventilator?

I find that we don't do a lot of PCAs for ventilated patients just because, again, this is probably my environment. I have all sorts of people I talk to who don't do ICU will say, Guanfosene, you mean like Robotussin? It's a different drug. They've just never even heard of it. And as long as I can push a button and understand it, that can work even in that case. That's obviously not everybody, but it's a nice way to give potentially a lot of opioid while still having out of control. Same as you would if when they weren't on the ventilator. If you're awake and
