I think a lot of the race as it amplifies is really going to be about running for that number two spot. And if you've got someone like Ron DeSantis unless he sort of messes up and you've got a diversity ticket in the shape of either Nikki Haley or Tim Scott, I think you've got something that conservative voters will be able to turn the leaf on Donald Trump. It's a real danger for Republicans if Trump decides to run as a third party candidate. There might be some legal obstacles for him. He might be barred or have a tough time getting on the ballot as an independent candidate.
