The Power of Prayer in Funerals
"When loved ones die, we feel so helpless. There's nothing else I can do for this person," Pope Francis says. "But you can help those you love by offering up prayers for them and by having the holy sacrifice of the mass being offered for them as well" He urges Catholics to pray for all the holy souls and purgatory - including friends who have no one to pray for them.
