Chinese Arms Exporting to the Middle East
Eight Chinese defense companies made the world's top 100 by sales and together accounted for 109 billion US dollars worth of arms last year. Norenco, which is a land system specialist, led the Chinese companies by selling 21.6 billion US dollarsworth of military goods. China is expanding its clients to the Middle East with drones particularly popular among Arab states that do not really have an amicable relationship with West.
