The Reorganization of Brook Farm

In 1845, Brook Farm began producing a periodical called the Harbinger. Ripley hoped that this new project was going to bring them some money. By this point, there were more than 100 people living at Brook Farm. So work began on the great community house, which was to be called the Philanstery.
