The Cost of Exosomes in Exercise

Exosomes have been shown in animal models. It's difficult to do in humans that they can traverse the blood brain barrier through a process called transcytosis. But even the very early work, and probably the world leader in the exosome field is Dr. Matthew Wood from England. Even his work, if you label the exosomes with a fluorescent tag, most of them end up in the liver, in the spleen, and in more of the inflammatory type tissues. So I think we move forward with better isolation methods. We're going to know more about this.
