I started lining up with us. I got a little sighs on me, so anytime one of us were told no by an inmate, they called me. And because I lined up with us, I promoted up pretty rapidly in the system. Less than a year later, I was in charge of the shoe at a special housing unit, the hole. Unlike upstairs, where everybody is out and about in the hole, you're locked down 24-7,.
