The EU Fines Meta for Channeling EU Citizens Data to US Servers

The EU has leveled a 1.3 billion dollar fine against meta for failing to keep EU citizen data safe and private. The other big punch to meta's stomach this week comes in the form of Giffy or if you prefer,. Jiffy, not the peanut butter, but the, you know, animated GIF database and search engine. Data sold Giffy off to another company called Shutterstock.
