The Algrithm Predicts Heart Attacks

Zad's analysis uncovered two kinds of mistakes that doctors made. Doctors weigh too many tests on low risk patients and don't test those who are at high risk for a heart attack. Two thirds of all the patients that doctors choose to test should not have been tested, Zad found. The algorithm also predicts which patients had blockages in the blood vessels that supply the heart.
