Aaron Green is a classical Freudian analyst. He's clearly has in some ways a good sense of humor about like his extraordinary flaws and is also very clear sighted or clear eyed about the idea that humans don't change that much even through decades of analysis. And then as Malcolm kind of introduces you to what she takes to be some of the pillars of Freudian thought, which I think she's mostly right about. She talks a lot about transfer and talk a lot about the edifice complex.
