Politicians are clearly using some intelligence that may or may not be available to the public. The question really here is, what should we do about this? I basically have a lot of my companies go public, or sometimes venture funds i'm in will distribute to me stock. If they did own amazon and they did want to liquidate it, maybe once a year there's a thirty day period in which they are allowed to set in their trades. That would make it a lot easier. You cand do it twice a year, something that doesn't make it look so unfortunate.
