What Is Metrology?
Each country has one national metrology institute. So if you want, like for example, we know about this kilogram, right? The prototype of a kilogram or a length bar. These are all kept in these institutes. But in 2019, the country, everybody accepted that we should have new definitions which are not based on prototypes but rather primary standards.
