The Delay Is Part of the Strategy
CNN's John Avlon says the GOP is trying to run out the clock on electoral votes in six states. They hope it will put public pressure on then vice president, mike pens, to send them back where they can be challenged by a republican led state legislature. Avlon: "They know that my pens cannot unilaterally declare the naltromp president but he can delay things" The strategy would involve 24 hours of nationally televised hearings across two chambers of congress for each requested challenge.
