You only book a hotel a couple days in advance because you just have no idea where you'll be. Do you drive around or take the train? I take the train. Can't say enough good things about the train in Ukraine. Not past the ab-of-wage. It does not have that enough to benefit. But you can go almost all the way to the front line.
