The Effect of pH on Drug Absorption

PKA is the pH at which there is an equal amount of the non-ionized and ionized form of the drug. And that might depend on how you administer the drug, whether you give it with food or an empty stomach. Motility moving through emptying is the stomach emptying itself out. The higher the PKA, the lower the pH and vice versa.
