Does It Make Sense to Pray?
In the asumma theologia, question 83, article two, in the secunda secunda, saint thomas asks whether it is fitting to pray. He says that historically, people have fallen into three different errors about prayer. The first error is a denial of divine providence. Altogether, so some people have thought that human affairs are not guided by god. But does it make sense to ask god for things?
