The Difference Between Hospital Cleaners and Hospital Cleaning Staff
Researchers found that hospital cleaning staff did not all think of their jobs the same way. One group described work as being 'not very high skill' while another said it was highly skilled. Researchers looked at what these different groups were doing on a regular basis. They called this job crafting, which they say helped them to create meaningful work for themselves.
