The Rise of Transformational Adaptation

Sissi: There's a big question on whether we can actually make transformation happen willingly, and how much it happens to us. We are globally facing a biodiversity crisis, and possibly the sixth mass extinction. A good transformation from my point of view might be a terrible thing for someone else within my community or in a different part of the world. But I think something else to think about is what I've seen in terms the dark side of transformation. Sissi: In times of severe disruption, people with the ability and with the mindset to do could come in and make a lot of money. So they can game that sort of transformation and bend it towards their own benefit.
