Between 70 to 90 % of modern application stacks use open sorce softway. Open source systems are now the bedrock for most anything we built. Only four in every ten organizations actually has an opens policy in place. The industry is recognizing this, and a few initiatives have already been put in place. Don't just complain of resolution. If you can hitch the security wagon to the developer enablement and developer inpowerment org, you're going to go a lot farther.
