Until maybe about 20 15 years ago, the concept was that if there is immune system presence in the brain, some pathologies going on. And therefore, the idea was that the two systems should live completely separately from each other. In the last may be 20 or 15 years, I started to realize that this immune activity around the brain is not just normal but it also supports brain function.
