Skateboarding

I was never skateboarders. I don't remember there being a whole lot of opportunity to like learn skating at a high level, right? Like there at one point basketball was a new sport and there wasn't really anyone to learn from. Now you've got so much basketball, you can be in camps from the time you're five years old, learn how to play the game. So you sort of almost had to go out there and figure out how do I get better at skateboarding without a ton of examples. And then it really came down to convincing both the counselor, the principal, and my parents that this was going to be the better thing for my future.
