How I Quit Japanese and Start Fresh With Spanish

I tried learning Japanese because a few of my friends were going to learn Japanese. I was really intense into it, but that's when I was introduced to Anki. And then like fast forward six months and I discovered Matt versus Japan in immersion learning. So why did you give up Japanese? I realized that my goal wasn't necessarily to like do anything with Japanese. I really just want to be bilingual. It would probably be more useful than Japanese.
