There's no incentive for the management of the company to get ger without getting bigger on a profitable basis. Management makes a hundred thousand dollar salaries. They have never given a single stock option or restricted share, not only to mister buffin and mister munger, but to anybody. Every one of the directors on berkshire's board has big time investments in shares of berkshire that they all paid for themselves. And so you've got this culture that allows management to be intelligent and rational with capital. The mistakes become smaller and smaller. They become rounding errors lo lament. But it doesn't matter. There are the big levers of where the economic, durable profitability comes from.
