The History of Benjamin Franklin
Benjamin Franklin was a printer, inventor and activist in Philadelphia. He traveled to the United Kingdom where he found his own print shop. By 1775, he is elected to represent the state of Pennsylvania in the Second Continental Congress. In 1776, he is appointed as a member of the Committee of Five that drafted the Declaration of Independence.
