Andrea, i think that desani has tremendous hope for her life. I think that this book is about the strength of family at the end of the day,. That is her ultimate system of survival. And i think that the hope is there. The hope is really a personal thing for this family. A when it comes to a policy prescriptions, my hope is that people read this book and can potentially get some kind of new window into seeing how these policies play out on the ground. Also perhaps challenge their own notions of what it means to be successful, what it mean to be happy.
