"There's a very important place in life where you learn and acknowledge the privilege that you come from," she said. "I feel like a lot of us chase that sometimes to our detriment and sometimes to our benefit" She says mindfulness meditation is helpful because it allows her to get scraps of stillness outside of an intense situation or conversation. A walk around the neighborhood has also helped improve her mood, which can be hard for people with ADHD.
