We've been getting 15 to 25% of our total calories from polyunsaturated fatty acids in the past, it's increased over the past five decades. In all of human history, the total Pufa content as a percentage of calories probably never exceeded five. So what I'm saying is that our body fat now cannot be used to sustain energy. This is death. If you can't get enough energy, you're going to die. And we crave an alternative fuel, which is sugar and carbohydrates are full of sugar. We have people who are really having a hard time losing weight while they still have so much polyunsaturated fat from seed oils and their body fat.
