Harrington, the Anti-Communist

He's pretty much an anti communist from the fifties onward. And it really affects how he doesn't like anything that considers soft on communism. A lot of his ideas can be found in the p huron statement of 19 62. He actually was kind of happy that the the viemen defeated the french in 19 54. But by the sixties, he is very enthusiastic about the great society programmes and working within the democratic party. So basically thinks that, you know, first world countries should elect liberals who will make a more just deal with global new order.
