The Future of Oil and Gas in the Global South
Valerie Marcel is head of the new producers group, a network of governments from 26 countries that are new to the oil and gas sector. Such nations include Guyana, Uganda and Mozambique. Valerie says the first challenge is to convince these countries in the global south that they need to make a plan for a future that is not financed by oil.
