Critical Race Theory - Is Critical Thinking a Good Thing?
People aren't always thinking very critically, and they're not even valuing good thinking. For some people, this objective, rational, linear thinking is actually oppressive. We have to adjust our expectations and go into conversations understanding that not every one is thinking that thinking well is even a good thing. Ask questions to reveal problems and thinking can inadvertently put people on the defensive.
