I Like Old People and I Don't Like Children
On his view, children have disutility. In other words, they generally make people unhappy. That doesn't mean they have no value. They might give you a life meaning. But when we're looking at morality, we look at utility,. We look at happiness. And children are not, they don't generate happiness. On the other hand, I think that when you look at old people, the last few years and the specific the last few months of their lives are often incredibly important.
