The Pirate Ship

Rover had been designed uniquely small, small for his awareness level and ability. He was commissioned by a high level company executive who didn't like the sight or sound of his drone folk around the place. Rover escaped unnoticed as he'd been designed to do. Now he got a hole up in the street, scuttled cross-white paving to follow the gutter line to the nearest system station. The paving would pick him up as an anomaly, but the guttering would not. Just another piece of rubbish, drifting. Abel caught the connection and burrowed deeper. Gun shields perched on the stern rail eager ready to launch.
