The Importance of Passion in the NHS

I see risks around the fact that we are using different platforms and technologies to provide cyber resilience, which means we've got different levels of vulnerabilities. You're only as strong as the weakest link in the system. So I see risks around all of this as well. It's not an easy conversation. Everybody that I speak to within the NHS comes to the NHS because they're passionate. Something normally has happened somewhere along their life, which is driven them to focus about wanting to give back something or want to work in a way. And I think part of tackling that really difficult conversation is showing what the right thing is. This is about improving how we provide those services to our patients who we serve
