The Effects of Sugamadex on Neuromuscular Blockade
Sugamadex was found to be effective for producing reversal in cardiac surgery patients. But there were reports of recurrent neuromuscular blockade after Sugamadex. In this study, researchers titrated the drug so that it produced a train of four ratio greater than equal to 0.9. They then monitored twitch for several hours following reversal while intubated in the ICU.
