Unikernels - What Is an Operating System?

With unikernels, it uses a different approach of structuring opering systems. Instead of the kernel acting as a big wrapper around all of your code, it simply is provided as a set of libraries. library operating systems work really well if you're trying to build a specialized application that is maximally using the hard word hand. If you just want to have a deat stop with lots of applications running, then you should just use conventionalopering systems.
