The Future of Diabetes

There's a lot of really exciting research. I don't think that there's a silver bullet because we still don't truly understand the multifactorial etiology. We have as close to a mechanical cure as you can get with a closed-loop system. There's something called the Bionic Pancreas Project where if you think about insulin as a gas pedal, an insulin pump only has insulin in it.
