The Role of Disclaimers in Censorship
Some internet rights activists say that this also infringes on freedom of speech now is that right. There are arguments that especially Aparhupa has made since since the time that these warnings were introduced in the cinema that this does amount to a certain form of censorship. When you have a disclaimer before a piece of content again you are taking away some time that the user the viewer could have just spent looking at what they have paid for but that seems a little less on the censorship side of things than having this message constantly show up. These kinds of measures do end up as censorship and this seems like a rather annoying flavor of that right.
