Is There a Difference Between Economic Efficiency and Socialism?
Economic surplus actually lets us have that debate. Can a system of socialism create as much surplus or joy in the world as possible, or does a capitalist system do better? But maximizing surplice still misses some really important things like equity. I think i'm starting to sour on economic efficiency.
